Coachella returns for its 2024 edition this weekend and next, April 12-14 and April 19-21 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, and set times for weekend one have arrived. Included on them are a surprise last minute addition, Vampire Weekend, who play on Saturday (4/13).
As usual, there are some conflicting set times for attendees to contend with; on Friday those include The Beths vs The Japanese House; L’Impératrice vs Chappell Roan vs Eartheater vs Faye Webster (all four of whom partially overlap); Deftones vs Brittany Howard vs Tinashe vs Skepta; Bizarrap vs Lil Uzi Vert; Peso Pluma vs Chloe vs Peggy Gou; and Justice vs Suki Waterhouse.
Saturday conflicts include Militarie Gun vs Erika de Casier; The Last Dinner Party vs Kevin Abstract; Bleachers vs Grimes; bar italia vs Oneohtrix Point Never vs Ice Spice; Gesaffelstein vs The Drums, and Tyler, The Creator vs Orbital vs Dom Dolla.
Sunday conflicts include feeble little horse vs Taking Back Sunday; Two Shell vs Victoria Monét; J Balvin vs Mandy, Indiana vs Tems; Jhené Aiko vs Lil Yachty vs DJ Snake; and Doja Cat vs Bicep.
The reunited No Doubt, who are billed as “AND…” at the bottom of this year’s lineup poster, will perform on Saturday on the Coachella Stage, right before Tyler closes the night.
This year Coachella adds a new stage, Quasar, featuring extended 3+ hour sets; the weekend one lineup has Honey Dijon x Green Velvet on Friday, Michael Bibi on Saturday, and Jamie xx x Floating Points x Daphni.
