STEVE MASON (BETA BAND)

After a couple false starts, former Beta Band frontman Steve Mason is in North America for his first tour here since the days of his old band 20 years ago. He’s promising a “Big mix of music but certainly some classics in there. It’s been too long!” The tour kicks off Tuesday, April 16 in Chicago and then hits Toronto, Montreal, NYC (Le Poisson Rouge on 4/23 with Bellows), DC, Philly, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.

THE MARLEY BROTHERS

Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani and Damian Marley will be joining forces for The Legacy Tour which will be their first in 20 years. Dates kick off September 5 and includes a NYC-area shows at Forest Hills Stadium on September 22 and Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on September 23.

THE MARIAS / AUTOMATIC

Los Angeles’ The Marías release their new album, Submarine, on May 31 via Nice Life Recording Company/Atlantic Records, and they’ve announced a tour with Automatic.

FRED ARMISEN

Fred Armisen, who you maybe have seen in Amazon’s Fallout series, will be on tour later this month with his “comedy for musicians but everyone is welcome” show. Dates begin April 23 in Milwaukee and from there he’ll hit Madison, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Chicago and Minneapolis.

THE ROOTS

The Roots will be on the Hip Hop is the Love of My Life Tour this summer, which for most dates has them out with Arrested Development and Digable Planets. They’ve just announced a NYC date for the tour, with Jungle Brothers instead of Arrested Development.

THE FEST 2024

The Fest returns to Gainesville for its 22nd edition from October 25-27, and the initial 2024 lineup has now been announced, including full-album sets by Bouncing Souls, Joyce Manor, Cloud Nothings, You Blew It!, Ted Leo, Big D and more.

THIS IS HARDCORE 2024

This Is Hardcore returns to Philly from August 2-4, and the lineup is now announced, with E.Town Concrete, Cold As Life, and Greg Ginn’s latest version of Black Flag, and more.

BODEGA

Bodega just released their new album Our Brand Could Be Your Life and played a release show in Brooklyn to celebrate. On Tuesday (4/16), they’ll stop by Rough Trade in Rockefeller Center (6 PM) for a free signing and performance. They’ve also got a show in Philly next week, and a NJ show in May. Further in the distance, Bodega will play Brooklyn Made on November 14. All dates are here.
