The first weekend of Coachella 2024 is officially in the books. While the Empire Polo Club grounds hit a reset as the event prepares for Weekend Two, revisit some of the highlights from Weekend One in the complete photo gallery below.
Of course, images can’t capture all the goodness that went down in Indio. While the gallery includes photos of surprise guests like Olivia Rodrigo (who rocked “Bathwater” with the reunited No Doubt), Shakira (who announced a world tour during Bizarrp’s set), and even Paris Hilton (who played cornhole with Vampire Weekend), other pop-ins included Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, and A$AP Rocky during Tyler, the Creator’s headlining Saturday set; Billie Eilish heaping praise on Lana Del Rey; and members of the Torres Martinez Cahuilla Bird Singers joining Blur (a cool moment despite what the crowd might have thought). Both Will and Willow Smith were also there, with the father performing “Men in Black” with J Balvin and the daughter joining Jon Batiste for “Be Who You Are.”
